Italian Herb Roast Chicken with Seal Rock Italian Herb Blend

There’s nothing more comforting—or more classic—than roast chicken. But with Seal Rock’s Italian Herb blend, this familiar favorite becomes a flavor-packed centerpiece, perfect for Sunday supper or meal prepping for the week ahead.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (3–4 lbs)

  • 2 tbsp Seal Rock Italian Herb blend

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 lemon, halved

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, and Seal Rock Italian Herb blend.

  3. Pat chicken dry. Rub the herb mixture all over and inside the cavity.

  4. Stuff cavity with lemon halves and truss the legs if desired.

  5. Roast in a pan for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, or until juices run clear.

  6. Let rest 10 minutes before carving.
